Jim Brown
Jim is based in the NE of England where he holds several roles in start-up and growth companies, helping to raise finance and then managing the subsequent growth and implementation.
Whilst being a Partner in Sherpa Jim has been Part Time FD in film and Animation Company Dene Films, having raised £750k mezzanine finance and supported the management team’s growth plan to double the sales to £4.0m sales.
Jim is also Part Time FD in cloud computing specialist AltasIM, raising start-up finance and supporting the team through to commercialisation and follow-on seed finance.
Jim enjoys mentoring and provides support currently for a number of clients including technology start up 360revelations where he was responsible for helping to raise start-up finance.
Jim trained and qualified with PwC, has an MBA from Durham Business School.
